Description
The recreational and sports site is located in the town of Raspenava which lies in the Frýdlant foreland, 6 km south-east from Frýdlant at the northern foot of Jizerské mountains. It is spread on both sides of Smědá river, the length of the village is almost 9 km. The first written record of the village dates from the year of 1343. In the present time of economic changes, the character of the village is not firm. Apart from traditional agriculture, the main source of job opprotunities is the industrial production in the fields of electrotechnics, building industries and furniture production.
