The Vír Factory is a revitalized brownfield of a former textile and engineering factory in the village of Vír, located in the picturesque valley of the Svratka River. The area is set in rocky terrain, near the dam of the Vír reservoir. The parking lot is located in the Uhelny section and has a capacity of 6 caravan pitches with the possibility of connecting to electricity, a drain for gray water, a drain for chemical toilets, a washing area and the possibility of refueling with drinking water. 🚐
The industrial area consists of three parts: accommodation in the Factory, a farm with trout ponds and a fruit and cider house, and Uhelny - a facility with the possibility of multifunctional use including a parking lot. 👉🏡
Refreshment:The Factory area features original authentic spaces with a bar and summer garden, and you will also find a combination of a tourist information center and a café. 🍝☕
On the Farm you will find a shop selling regional products. 🧀
Swimming:There is a swimming pool with a modified entrance to the water, a diving board and refreshments right in the village of Vír. Other swimming options are in nearby natural locations along the reservoir, where the water is clean and the environment is calm. 🌤️💦
Sport and entertainment:In the area, take advantage of first aid training, a 46m chimney jump and an industrial via ferrata on the chimney, outdoor activities and a children's playground. The Factory has a billiard room and a gallery on the stairs. 🎭🏓
You can use the via ferratas in the area for practice or competitive climbing, and the section of the Svratka River below the Vír Dam is also navigable for canoes and kayaks. 🚣
In the area, you will find a rental shop for climbing, cycling and boating equipment.

Tourism » Explore the village of Vír, which is located approximately 8 kilometers from Bystřice nad Pernštejnem, and its offer of tourist attractions such as the rare Vír mill, which drives twenty wooden figures. The Vír dam is located near the village. There are beautiful views from the Hraběcí stolek viewpoint above the meander of the Svratka River, or the Klubačice and Rossi viewpoints, or if you are attracted by nice photos, you can use the Instagram trail of the Crown of the Highlands. The ruins of Pyšolec Castle are located near the village. 🏰🌳
